Terms of Service

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Public registration creates a Student account; Instructor, Mentor, Employer, and Admin accounts have additional responsibilities described below.

2. Roles & Acceptable Use

• Students: use courses and cohorts for personal learning; do not share paid course content outside the platform
• Instructors: content you publish must be your own work or properly licensed, and must be accurate and appropriate for learners
• Mentors: sessions should be conducted professionally; mentor availability and rates shown are set by you
• Employers: job listings must be genuine opportunities; you may not use candidate data for purposes outside recruitment
• All users: no harassment, spam, plagiarism, or attempts to circumvent platform security

3. Payments & Refunds

Paid courses can be purchased via Flutterwave (card/bank/USSD) or direct bank transfer. Bank transfers are enrolled once our team manually verifies the payment against your reference code, typically within 24 hours.

Refund requests are considered within 30 days of purchase, provided you have not completed a significant portion of the course. Contact support@beythrexacademy.com to request a refund.

4. Cohorts & Scheduling

Cohorts have a fixed start date, end date, and seat capacity. Joining a cohort reserves your seat but does not guarantee makeup sessions if you miss live components — recorded materials remain available through your enrollment.

5. Certificates

Certificates are issued upon course completion where enabled. Certificates reflect course completion, not a guarantee of employment or third-party accreditation unless explicitly stated on the course page.

6. Intellectual Property

Course content, the BeyThrex Academy name, and platform design are owned by BeyThrex Academy or its instructors and licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute paid content without permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the platform. You may close your account at any time via support.

8. Limitation of Liability

BeyThrex Academy provides the platform "as is." We are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
